Welcome to Old Sulehay Cottages, originally three farm cottages built in 1873 by the nearby Apethorpe Estate.
Rest and be Thankful is one of those cottages and sleeps up to four people with all the comforts of home, set in a beautiful location with stunning views. Walk out of the gate and there are three nearby Nature Reserves waiting to be discovered.
Just a ten minute drive to beautiful Stamford, the jewel in Lincolnshire's crown and at the gateway to five counties the area is often described as the "undiscovered Cotswolds".
Rest and be Thankful
Rest and be Thankful sleeps up to four people. With super comfy beds, high quality bed linen and newly installed double glazing, you are guaranteed a warm and cozy stay with a good nights rest. Wake to views of the paddocks, orchard and the sound of birdsong....
The well equipped kitchen means that you can relax and eat in or venture out to one of the many local eateries. Or light the barbeque and sit in the garden to enjoy the sunset with a galss of wine.
The Little Bothy
Coming soon.....currently under conversion and renovation, The Little Bothy used to be a small barn behind Old Sulehay Cottages.
It is being transformed into a two bedroom cottage with underfloor heating, a wood burner and modern shower room. A private courtyard garden at the rear will be perfect for enjoying summer evenings. We hope to have the new accommodation open for Summer 2018. We'll keep you updated on progress!
