Welcome to Old Sulehay Cottages, originally farm cottages built in 1873 by the nearby Westmoreland Estate. Set in stunning countryside with lovely views. Walk out of the gate and there are three nearby Nature Reserves waiting to be explored…

Just a ten minute drive to beautiful Stamford, the jewel in Lincolnshire's crown and at the gateway to five counties, the area is often described as the "undiscovered Cotswolds".

We can accommodate from 2 to 8 people with flexible sleeping arrangements.

Great for friends or family to enjoy quality time together!

Rest and be Thankful

Rest and be Thankful sleeps up to four people. With super comfy beds, high quality bed linen and newly installed double glazing, you are guaranteed a warm and cozy stay with a good nights rest. The fully equipped kitchen means that you can relax and eat in or venture out to one of the many local eateries. Or light the barbeque and sit in the garden to enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. Your four legged friends are also welcome.

Wake to views of the paddocks, orchard and the sound of birdsong....

The Little Bothy

This recently renovated two bedroom barn sits behind Old Sulehay Cottages and was originally built to provide a laundry and store rooms for the farm cottages built in 1873 by the nearby Apethorpe Estate. The barn has been thoughtfully restored and extended to provide a modern, self contained cottage sleeping four people. Imaginatively designed and finished to a very high standard, the barn offers luxury and comfort in abundance.

Perfect for a romantic getaway - quiet, peaceful and relaxing for just the two of you.

“A hidden gem, thank you.”

A brilliant location for walking, good pubs and Burghley Horse Trials!! Thank you for a lovely week spent here in your cozy cottage.

Set in a peaceful location just off the beaten track, relax in the orchard with a book or walk in one of the three local nature reserves, and spot deer, foxes, badgers and red kites flying overhead, stunning at any time of year. Alternatively, visit one of the nearby market towns, all very individual, or the famous Burghley House and its gardens designed by Capability Brown at nearby Stamford.

Beautiful at any time of the year....
